Essity’s Prudhoe Mill is the company’s largest site in the UK and a cornerstone of local industry, employing around 400 people. It’s where household names like Cushelle, Velvet and Tork are made.
Recently, the mill has been undergoing a major upgrade – including a brand-new, modern recycling facility to replace its 50-year-old predecessor. It’s a multi-million-pound investment aimed at cutting landfill waste, boosting energy efficiency, and modernising the site’s production processes.
