Milo Access Platforms Supports EVNT Inspirations with Manitou MT1840 Telehandler Deployment

Telehandler Hire for Grey Street Christmas Market Deconstruction
This morning, Milo Access Platforms proudly supported EVNT Inspirations as they began the deconstruction of the popular Christmas Markets on Grey Street, Newcastle City Centre. To help ensure the work could be carried out safely and efficiently, we supplied one of our industry-favourite telehandlers: the Manitou MT1840.
Delivered to site by our trusted transport partner Murray Hogg, the MT1840 arrived alongside a DP25 CAT forklift from our colleagues at Permatt Fork Lift Trucks, forming a well-matched pair of machines for a busy city-centre project.
About the Manitou MT1840
The Manitou MT1840 is a robust, high-performance 18-metre telehandler, offering excellent versatility for event work, construction tasks, installations, de-rigs and more. Key features include:
- 18m maximum lift height – ideal for accessing elevated fixtures and structures
- 4,000kg lifting capacity – enabling safe handling of heavy loads and equipment
- Exceptional stability with front outriggers for improved precision
- Smooth, efficient operation for tight and busy urban environments
- Full compatibility with a range of attachments for increased flexibility
For the Grey Street project, the telehandler provides the height, reach and manoeuvrability needed to remove overhead structures and bulky components from the market installations.
